Two new call centres are set to open in Belfast this autumn and create 300 jobs.

Two new call centres are set to open in Belfast this autumn and create 300 jobs.

Local company Gem has attracted four businesses, including Channel Four and online entertainment company Play.com, to set up the call centres at two locations in the city.

Recruitment is beginning now, and all posts should be filled by November.

"The other clients which we have attracted are an online dating agency and a travel company," according to a Gem spokeswoman.
