The Cabin Fever programme returned to TV this evening with a live show from Sligo introducing a new sailing vessel to replace the original which sank off Tory Island.

RTE and Coco productions said the Johanna Lucretiahad been granted a passenger licence by the Marine Safety Directorate this evening. A new crew has been put in place, captained by Mr Ted Hayes.

Six of the original contestants have returned to the series with two refusing to continue. They have been replaced by Mr Noel Hogan and Mr David Yaffe.

The contestants are competing for €100,000 in prize money. Contestants are voted off the boat each week with the surviving person claiming the prize.
