Boy (11) killed in wall collapse

An 11-year-old boy was killed when a wall collapsed on him yesterday. Joseph Blount, from Bray, Co Wicklow, was playing near a derelict building in Ballinesker, Curracloe, Co Wexford when a wall collapsed, burying him. The accident occurred shortly after 12.30 p.m. He was removed to Wexford General Hospital where he died shortly afterwards.
