An Irish multiple sclerosis clinic has won a British award for the quality of its patient care

An Irish multiple sclerosis clinic has won a British award for the quality of its patient care. The clinic at Beaumont Hospital in Dublin was set up in 1998 and treats around 300 patients.

The "measuring success" award was presented by the United Kingdom Multiple Sclerosis Society in London last month.

The Minister of State for Health, Ms Mary Hanafin, unveiled a plaque in the hospital to mark the award yesterday.
