Belgrade - Street protests aimed at toppling Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic gained strength at the weekend, with around 40,000 chanting demonstrators out on the streets of Belgrade.
The huge Saturday evening protest was set to continue for a sixth straight day yesterday with the opposition hoping to step up pressure gradually on the Serbian leader to an irresistible level.
