Nairobi - More than two million people in Kenya, including over 100,000 children under five, are infected with AIDS, statistics published yesterday showed.
The incidence of AIDS cases is still increasing on last year's figure, which showed 14 per cent of the population were affected, a statement issued by the National AIDS Control Programme of Kenya's Health Ministry said. Over 700,000 Kenyans have already died from AIDS, and current projections suggest the total will reach 2.5 million by 2005.
