BUSINESSMAN Albert Gubay is seeking £1 million for a two-acre hotel site beside the new health centre he is shortly to open close to the Blanchardstown roundabout of the Navan road and the Northern Cross.

There is outline planning permission for a 60-bedroom motel, restaurant and car-parking with 170 spaces. A short distance away Trusthouse Forte is building another hotel.

Mason Owen Lyons, which is handling the sale, is marketing a one-acre site with planning permission for a forecourt filling station and associate retail outlet at Fonthill Road, which forms the Clondalkin bypass from the Naas Road to Lucan Road in west Dublin. The site is expected to make about £500,000 when it is sold by tender
