CORRECTIONS AND CLARIFICATIONS

With reference to a report on TDs' salaries and expenses in the editions of May 28th, a spokeswoman for the Oireachtas points out that the attendance allowance of £26.40 is in fact a subsistence allowance which is paid only to Dublin deputies who do not receive the overnight allowance the mileage rate given in the report is paid on a reducing scale per number of miles travelled and the payment for establishing a constituency office is paid only to those deputies who establish a constituency office outside Leinster House.
