In an article on Celtic stone heads in Saturday's editions, reference was made to Ms Cathy Swift, historian at University College Dublin. Dr Swift works in the history department of NUI, Maynooth.

In a report on new appointees to the Medical Council in last Friday's editions, it was stated that Ms Catherine Bulbulia was a former Progressive Democrat senator. In fact, Ms Bulbulia, who is programme manager for the Tanaiste, is a former Fine Gael senator. And she points out that, while her husband, Dr Abdul Bulbulia, has been appointed to the Medical Council by the present Minister for Health, he was first appointed to the Council by a Labour minister.

In yesterday's Out of the West column, Tomas O Curraoin was referred to incorrectly as a Sinn Fein local election candidate. He represented Republican Sinn Fein.

The caption to the picture which illustrated the reviews yesterday said it showed Conleth Hill but in fact it showed Sean Campion. Both actors are appearing in Stones in his Pockets at Andrews Lane Theatre, Dublin.
