The map illustrating a report on a new 240-holiday-home development near Enniscrone, published in yesterday's editions wrongly identified Ballina in Co Mayo as Westport.

The organisation which the author represents is the Irish Mental Patients' Educational and Representative Organisation and the American organisation to which he meant to refer in his letter is the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill.

When errors occur it is the policy of The Irish Times to correct or clarify as soon as is practicable.
