LEITRIM WALKThe Sliabh an Iarainn walk is one of the most spectacular in Leitrim, combining country roads, forest walks and mountain scenery. The name translates to 'mountain of iron' and the area was reputed to be the place the Tuatha de Dannan landed in ancient legend. The full walk is almost 20km long and can take up to a day. 071-9641569

THE PARTING GLASS

Dermot Bolger's latest play, produced by axis Ballymun, is finishing a mini Irish tour before opening at the undergroundzero festival in New York. The play is a humorous and poignant story of human relationships, sport and coming home and is a sequel to Bolger's previous play, In High Germany.
