German shares trade slightly higher yesterday. Boosted by a stable dollar the market showed little reaction to news of a 1.4 per cent rise in industrial output in April and GDP figures which showed a 0.5 per cent drop in the first quarter of the year.
The average yield on government securities eased by 0.02 of a percentage point to 5.81 per cent.
CAC 40 2115.35 (+4.35)
The Paris Bourse was initially hesitant, but then eked out a modest gain as the CAC 40 index finished at 2,115.35 points, up 0.21 per cent from the Tuesday close. Trading was moderately active, with turnover of 4.7 billion francs.
Canal Plus TV dropped 6.55 per cent and Euro Disney 4.5 per cent.
Eurotunnel gave up 6.5 per cent, having jumped 22 per cent in the previous two sessions.

Shares closed easier in Milan, reflecting a dip in domestic bonds while buying interest was light. Volume was a medium 570 billion lire.
