The Government and the EU yesterday unveiled a new research and development information service; the joint project will provide businesses and educational establishments in the State and across Europe with arrange of information on EU R&D developments and activities through the World Wide Web. The Minister of State, Mr Noel Treacy, said the service would focus on EU and Irish R&D news and policy, participation possibilities in EU programmes, and contacts for programmes.
