DANA Exploration increased its loss before tax from £247,938 in 1994 to £678,006 in 1995. The results are in line with expectations. Dana said it expected to move into profit as oil revenues "build sharply through 1996-98" there had been a substantial increase in activity. These, said Dana, had been directed towards two oil field development projects the South Vat Yoganskoye field and the Sortymskoye field, both in western Siberia, Russia. Recoverable oil reserves have risen to 56.3 million barrels.

The balance sheet shows a stronger financial position. Cash on hand has risen from £1.3 million to £2.2 million and shareholders funds went up from £3.1 million to £5 million.
