Kindle Banking Systems, the banking software supplier, has established a strategic alliance with the Russian based firm, Volgodonsk Electronics (VDEL).

The alliance will mean the two companies "combining their resources to comprehensively target and meet the needs of the banking sector" in Russia and the surrounding republics.

They will have a new approach to marketing Kindle's software throughout the region, said Mr David Leech, managing director of Kindle Banking Systems.
