FRANCE yesterday postponed one of the country's biggest privatisation projects, the sale of a 30 per cent stake in France Telecom, by four weeks because it conflicts with the election called by President Jacques Chirac. Under the new timetable, private French investors will be allowed to reserve shares beginning around June 5th. The international Initial Public Offer (IPO) will run from June 24th to July 1st.
