The governing council of the European Central Bank has postponed its meeting in Dublin which was scheduled for March 15th, as part of continuing efforts to prevent the spread of foot-and-mouth disease.

The decision was taken following consultation with the Central Bank. The meeting will take place in Frankfurt, with the Dublin meeting deferred to a later date.
