APN News & Media logs 20% profit rise

APN News & Media, the 41 per cent owned associate of Independent News & Media, has increased net profits by 20 per cent to 50.7 million Australian dollars (€32 million). Strong growth by its outdoor advertising and radio divisions compensated for a flat performance from the regional newspaper operation.
