AIB has completed the acquisition of 80 per cent of Bank Zachodni in Poland, it announced yesterday. The aggregate purchase price amounts to 2.3 billion zloty (€528 million).
The acquisition makes AIB's Polish interests - comprised of Zachodni and its existing subsidiary WBK - the sixth largest banking group in Poland.
