Swimming: Terenure ended the National Swimming Championships in Belfast on Saturday on a positive note with an Irish junior record of 3 minutes 31.83 seconds in the men's 4 x 100 freestyle relay. The only other national record of the four-day meet was Andrew Reid's senior record of 55.11 for the 100 metres butterfly on Thursday. Reid failed to deliver another record performance on Saturday but his time of 24.75 for the 50 metres fly ensured he qualified for the European short course championships at Lisburn in December.
