KILDARE jockey Mark Gallagher, who was injured ill Bangalore last month in a shooting incident, was ordered by a court yesterday to leave India by the end of March.

A city court gave Gallagher and his British wife Tracy six days to, leave India or face prosecution for staying in the country without valid travel documents.

Judge ABC. Vidhyadhar also posed a 14-dollar penalty on Gallagher for his "unauthorised" visit to this southern Indian city.

Police said the jockey was prosecuted because he was only permitted to visit New Delhi and not Bangalore, where Gallagher and Tracy have been staying for the past two months.
