Rich Revival tops the betting for Easter Monday Irish Grand National

The Liz Doyle-trained Rich Revival has been installed a 7-1 clear favourite by the big-race sponsors for Monday’s Ladbrokes Irish Grand National.

A maximum field of thirty was declared for Fairyhouse’s €250,000 Easter feature at today’s final declaration, including the topweight Junior, one of just two cross-channel hopefuls.

Gigginstown Stud has five runners with their No. 1 jockey Davy Russell on board Sweeney Tunes while Tony McCoy will ride Competitive Edge for owner JP McManus.

Champion trainer Willie Mullins has never won the Irish National but has two chances this time, including Marasonnien, yet to win over fences, but the mount of Ruby Walsh.
