The Irish Professional Footballers golf society will stage their first outing of the season at Lucan next Monday. The event will double as the qualifier for the Billy Behan Matchplay, the tournament named after the former Manchester United scout. It was inaugurated last year and won by the society's secretary, Tom Murphy. This year's captain is Johnny Goulding, and Paddy Ambrose is president.
