Man in the middle: Deegan bound for centre stage again

Maurice Deegan has been named as referee for the All-Ireland football final between Donegal and Mayo on September 23rd.

The Stradbally (Co Laois) club man previously reffed the 2008 final when Tyrone beat Kerry.

The stand-by referee is David Coldrick from Meath with Eddie Kinsella (Laois) running the other line and Conor Lane from Cork acting as fourth official.

Derry’s Barry Cassidy will take charge of the minor final between Dublin and Meath.
