Four splendidly-taken goals from corner forward Matty Forde helped Wexford champions Kilanerin to an emphatic victory over their Louth counterparts at Gorey yesterday.

Stabannon Parnells struggled in every sector, with Kilenerin's Jim Darcy and Seamus Hughes on top at midfield, and Forde amassing a tally of 3-3 in the first half to help his side lead 3-6 to 0-3 at the interval.

Forde added another goal after 32 minutes and John Hegarty one after 40 minutes. Pat Butterly got the consolation goal for the losers from a penalty five minutes from the end.
