Cellini can confirm the promise of three eye-catching runs by opening his account in the Sunbury Antiques Market Maiden Stakes at Kempton today. Sheikh Mohammed's late-developing son of Caerleon only made his debut three months ago and now looks as though he has got his act together.

After showing some ability on his racecourse bow at Windsor in June when eighth of 21 to Coulthard over 10 furlongs, he was down the field on unsuitably soft ground at Chepstow just two weeks later.

Trainer Luca Cumani gave the colt more time to mature and his patience was almost rewarded at York earlier this month when Cellini stayed on strongly to finish three lengths second behind another Sheikh Mohmamed-owned horse, Queens Dagger, over a mile.

He has an extra half-mile to travel this time, but that should not pose a problem as his half-sister Puce was a winner over the trip.

Cellini's half-brother Shouk, owned by the Fittocks Stud, can initiate a Cumani double by taking the European Breeders Fund Classified Stakes.

The lightly-raced daughter of Shirley Heights was a winner over 10 1/2 furlongs last season and ran well from 6lb out of the handicap when fifth to Alcazar in a competitive handicap at Haydock earlier this month.

Dashiba can break her duck at the seventh attempt in division one of the EBF Maiden Fillies' Stakes. The David Elsworth-trained filly has run against the best of her generation, finishing seventh to Bint Allayl in the Group Two Lowther Stakes at York last month.

She has since finished third of 19 behind Frappe in a six-furlong maiden here two weeks ago. Tomorrow's extra furlong should suit.

The second division can go to the Brian Meehan-trained Coffee Cream. She was three and a quarter lengths behind Dashiba in fifth place when making her debut in Frappe's race.

Safey Ana looks the answer to the 49's Spelthorne Handicap. The Ben Hanbury-trained seven-yearold keeps his form remarkably well.

At Leicester, Red Delirium is taken to foil likely hot favourite Al Waffi in the Kegworth Novice Stakes.

The Richard Hannon-trained juvenile has performed with credit in decent company all season and is the value against David Loder's colt who was beaten on his debut when odds-on.

After finishing third of 19 to Clunie at Nottingham a week ago, Compton Akka can reverse the form with the winner on better terms to take the Leicester Sound Fillies' Nursery.

Galapino can open his account over jumps in the Wormbridge Novices' Hurdle at Hereford.
