RELEGATION threatened Bray Wanderers recorded their biggest win of the season as they strolled into the quarter finals of the FAI Cup when they beat a very disappointing Dublin University at Santry Avenue on Saturday.

Man of the match, Robbie Coyle was Trinity's tormentor throughout, scoring twice. He set up Graham O'Hanlon for a rasping drive that was inches over in the 14th minute before O'Hanlon opened the scoring a minute later. Ray Kenny's corner was flicked on by Ritchie Parsons and O'Hanlon sidefooted in unchallenged at the back post.

Four minutes later Coyle's excellent left foot delivered the second goal as his low, angled drive flew past Trinity goalkeeper Martin Mulligan whose dithering defence had allowed Alan Dodd to feed Coyle.

Again a poor piece of defending presented Coyle with his second, and Bray's third, strike on 28 minutes. Barry Herterich could only deflect a Kenny cross straight to Coyle who ran in to shoot powerfully home once more.
