Madam, - In recent decades we have grown used to having two codes of law in Ireland: the unwritten code that appears to apply to those well connected in politics and business, and the written code that applies to the rest of the population.

Now we have a third code: gang law. When you have two, why not have three, or four, or more?

Zero tolerance? Of what - responsible citizenship, responsible government? Certainly not of crime or criminals. - Yours, etc.,
