Madam, - I was lucky enough to attend John O'Conor's 60th birthday celebration concert at the National Concert Hall on October 2nd.
It was a wonderful moment in my Irish sojourn. The young musicians formed an enjoyable, strong background accompaniment to their pianist master. (And the percussionist had such command!)
The RIAM director, his staff and the conductor of the RIAM Symphony Orchestra are doing a great job in securing an all-island musical future.
