A Chara, - With people of the calibre of Brian Cowen and Brian Lenihan ascending to the leadership of Fianna Fáil, frantic Fine Gael spokesmen have taken to peddling the line that the people will vote against the "same tired old faces" at the next election and will turn to something fresh and new instead.
Presumably the genius who dreamt that one up forgot that by 2012 every other party in the Dáil will have new leaders smiling out from billboards all over Ireland, while Enda Kenny will be spryly serving his 37th year as a TD, with little of substance to show for it. Fingers crossed. - Is mise,
