Sir, In reply to S. Ua Concubair's query how a hang man who died in 1770 could resurrect himself six years later to hang our late Parish Priest, Father Nicholas Sheehy, in 1776: the answer is quite simple. Father Sheehy was executed (ie hanged, drawn and quartered) in Clonmel on March 15th, 1766, and not 1776.
