Sir, - Ms Williamson's action in the Belfast High Court against Dr Mo Mowlam's decision that the IRA ceasefire was intact is obviously taken on behalf of the Ulster Unionist Party. It was depressing to see her escorted in and out of court by Messrs Trimble, Donaldson and Maginnis.

It must now be obvious to all that the UUP is anxious to see the end of the IRA ceasefire as this would get them off the hook and allow them to justify their walking away from the Good Friday Agreement. The question must be asked: "Do they really want peace?"

Is it not now time for the media to properly analyse the situation in Northern Ireland and put the blame for the non-implementation of the Good Friday Agreement squarely on the shoulders of the Ulster Unionist Party?- Yours, etc.,
