Sir, – If there is a burgeoning obesity crisis (Editorial, September 10th), then why is your newspaper publishing articles such as "10 common instances of fatphobia, and how to react to them"? Obesity is not a matter of identity politics nor fashion. I look forward to an article headlined, "Social drinking: how to counter accusations of alcoholism".
Not that alcohol abuse is a problem in Ireland or anything. – Yours, etc,
