Madam, - Did the photograph of Mr Dermot Cogan of the Mount Carmel Hospital with 120 babies' bottles - the number the hospital now recycles each day - strike anyone else as ironic (Health Supplement, May 2nd)?
Breastfeeding is the ultimate eco-friendly option, as well as bestowing many other proven benefits on mothers and babies. It's a pity it didn't get a mention when a maternity hospital is trying to reduce its waste. - Yours, etc,
