Sir, – Low-earning parents do not have the option of private schools. High earning parents have that choice. The State aids this position by the tax system.
If higher earners paid more tax then the same higher level of education could be given to all children.
Providing tax monies to private schools increases the difference in education children get and makes a bad situation worse. – Yours, etc,
