A boy (15) has been arrested and charged after police vehicles were attacked with stones, paint and other missiles in south Belfast last night.

The trouble in the nationalist Ormagh Road and Cromac Street areas lasted for a few hours before calm was restored.

There were no reports of injuries.

The boy  is expected to appear at Belfast Youth Court today changed with possession of an offensive weapon.
