Gardaí in Dublin are seeking witnesses to a serious assault on a security company worker early yesterday.
The 43-year-old man was sitting in his car at about 5.30am at the entrance to Belcamp College, Coolock, just off the N32 road, when he was attacked.
A Garda spokesman said a Dublin Fire Brigade ambulance took the man to Beaumont Hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.
He asked witnesses to the incident or anyone with information to contact gardaí in Coolock or any Garda station.
