London - The woman who was appointed as the "appropriate adult" to listen to the confessions of the serial killer Fred West has sought compensation from the police.
Ms Janet Leach (42), of Cheltenham, Glos, a trainee social worker, claimed at the Appeal Court in London that she had experienced psychological injury.
