Vodafone is to cut its Irish workforce by 150 people over the next month due to what it says is “an increasingly challenging economic environment”.

The company employs 1,500 people and is headquartered in Ireland in Sandyford, Dublin. Vodafone said it hoped to achieve the job cuts through a voluntary redundancy programme.
