Washington - Three US nationals will appear in court on Monday charged with spying for the former East Germany, the former Soviet Union and South Africa, a US Attorney, Ms Helen Fahey, said. Mr James Clark (49), Ms Theresa Squillacote (39), and Mr Kurt Stand (42) were arrested after meeting FBI agents posing as foreign intelligence officers and in several instances handing over classified US government documents. "These arrests take a critical step toward bringing to justice three United States citizens who, among other things, are alleged to have been spies for East Germany during the height of the Cold War," Ms Fahey said.
