Two men appeared in court yesterday charged in connection with last Wednesday's seizure of £1 million worth of ecstasy tablets in a car in west Dublin. Mr Thomas Delaney (26), and Mr Donal Keenan (29), both of Galtymore Close, Drimnagh, Dublin, were charged with possession of the drug for supply at the junction of the M50 and Ballymount Road.
Dublin District Court was told both were arrested on the Old Navan Road on Thursday and brought to Blanchardstown Garda Station.
They were remanded in custody to next Thursday.
