A Co Meath man, Mr Liam McLaughlin (46), from Kentstown, died on Monday night after his car was involved in a collision with a tractor at Garlow cross near Navan.
A man in his mid-twenties was killed in Galway yesterday evening when a horse box he was uncoupling from a vehicle fell on him. The accident occurred at Rosscahill at about 7 p.m. The victim was taken to University College Hospital, Galway, where he was pronounced dead.
