Two men were today being treated for bullet wounds suffered during separate attacks in west Belfast.
A 17-year-old youth was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital after being shot in both legs and arms in a paramilitary-style attack, an RUC spokeswoman said.
He had been taken from his home by a gang of men to the rear of Aitnamona Crescent in Andersonstown, where the shooting occurred.
