Two men have died following road crashes in Cos Clare and Offaly this morning.
A man (19) died when the car he was driving left the road at 6.15am between Sixmilebridge and Newmarket on Fergus in Co Clare.
A passing motorist spotted the crashed car in a field and alerted gardai.
The body of the man was taken to the Midwestern Regional Hospital in Limerick.
In Co Offaly, a man in his 30s died in the Midland Regional Hospital in Tullamore following a crash near Birr shortly after 7.00am.
There were no other vehicles involved.
