TWO TEENAGERS have died over the weekend following road traffic incidents

TWO TEENAGERS have died over the weekend following road traffic incidents. A 16-year-old boy died in a two-car crash at Cornglass, Conna, Mallow, Cork yesterday evening.

The teenager, a passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene. The drivers of both cars were taken to hospital, but are not believed to be seriously injured.

A second teenager, involved in a car crash a week ago near Arklow, Co Wicklow, has died. Eoin Graham from Ballycoogue, six miles from Arklow, sustained serious head injuries in the crash at Kincarra, Arklow, and was taken to Beaumont Hospital, where he died yesterday.

In a separate incident, a 24-year-old man was in a critical condition last night following a two-vehicle crash on the Athy road on the outskirts of Carlow town early on Saturday.
