TV presenter Caron Keating dies of cancer

The former BBC and ITV TV presenter Caron Keating died last night after losing her battle with breast cancer.

The former BBC and ITV TV presenter Caron Keating died last night after losing her battle with breast cancer.

The former Blue Peterpresenter, who was from Northern Ireland, was the daughter of Gloria Hunniford. She was 42.

A statement issued by Ms Keating's family this morning said she died at her mother's home in Kent yesterday evening after a seven-year battle against cancer.

She was the mother of two boys, Charlie, aged nine, and seven-year-old Gabriel, and was husband to Russ Lindsay.

She  spent the last two years in Byron Bay, Australia, with her husband and children, although her family home remained in Fowey, Cornwall.
