Trinity College, Dublin, has won research funding under the EU's Training and Mobility of Researchers Networks Programme, which encourages collaborative research activities.

More than 20 young researchers and about 20 senior researchers will benefit from the £1 million funding which will support 14 projects. Each venture involves five or more partners in industry and universities from three or more different countries.

TCD's Chemistry Department was chosen to co-ordinate two of the projects.
