Three arrested after shooting incident in Dublin

Three men were arrested in connection with a shooting in Dublin this morning in which five young people were injured.

A garda spokesman said three males and two females were taken to James Connolly Memorial hospital in Blanchardstown. after the incident in Virginia Drive, Finglas at 1.30 a.m. It is understood at least two shots were discharged from a shotgun.

None of the injuries are said to be life-threatening.

A Garda spokeswoman told ireland.comthe incident is believed to be related to an ongoing family feud.
