The body of a man who went missing while swimming with friends yesterday has been  discovered by rescue services in Lough Erne.

Police divers recovered the body of Stuart Irwin (19), a trainee mechanic from Newtownbutler, Co Fermanagh, at the Castle Archdale caravan park early this morning.

The RNLI also assisted in the search.

Democratic Unionist Assembly member Arlene Foster desribed Mr Irwin’s death as “a devastating tragedy”.
