THE all party Oireachtas Committee on the Constitution is inviting submissions from the public. The chairman, Mr Jim O'Keeffe TD (FG), said the recent report of the Constitution Review Group under the chairmanship of Dr T.K. Whitaker was the most rigorous analysis of the Constitution and provided "a well prepared menu of amendments".
Anyone wishing to comment on the group's proposals could do so, said Mr O'Keeffe.
Submissions to the all party committee should be sent to PO Box 5328, Dublin 2. The secretary of the committee is Mr Jim O'Donnell of the Institute of Public Administration, who also acted as secretary of the Constitution Review Group.
